Play by the Downtown Urban Theater Festival

Lessons on the A Train, a short play about a group of teenagers and their dreams, will have two preview performances at the 8th Annual Downtown Urban Theater Festival to be held at Theater for the New City in NYC. The play will be directed by Reg E. Gaines, Tony and Grammy-nominated writer of the Broadway hit musical Bring in da Noise Bring in da Funk.

AUDITION INFORMATION:
Monday, March 22 and Tuesday, March 23, 2010
By appointment only (10:00am to 1:00pm)

Nonunion with compensation of $100 for each performance and $50 for each rehearsal.

Projected Rehearsal Period: April 14 through April 23, 2010 during the day - four to eight rehearsals.

Projected Performance Date: Saturday, April 24, 2010 - two performances in one day.
